Availability

What should I do when I get the 404 error after being redirected?

Most of the time, this error occurs when the designer changes the location of the item or when the designer removes the item. As they don’t inform MockupSea about the change, the mockup remains in the directory. You can help keep the directory clean by updating us and reporting the item. Thank you!

When I visit the linked page, some “free” mockups appear as “paid”?

Some designers and agencies decide to upgrade the mockup to premium/paid when the mockups become successful on the web. As they don’t inform MockupSea about the change, the mockup remains in the directory. You can help keep the directory clean by updating us and reporting the item. Thank you!

I’m not happy with the mockup I bought. I want a refund. What now?

MockupSea does not sell any premium items. Please check the purchase receipt and contact the marketplace you bought the item.

Licenses

How does CC (Creative Commons) work?

Creative Commons licenses give a free and standard way to grant copyright permissions for anyone’s creative works. Some designers allow unrestricted use of the design. But some licenses require attribution and can be used in commercial contexts.

Do I have to add attribution when I use a mockup?

It’s totally up to the designer. Most designers don’t, but some want you to link to the source. Please check for the additional information on the website where you download the mockup.

Can I use the free mockups for private and commercial projects?

MockupSea always ensures that the mockups added to the site are freely usable in private and commercial contexts, as the author describes. But sometimes, the author may change the license without informing us. Hence, double-check the license on the download page before using the mockup. Please respect the author’s decision.
